While there may be manufacturer warranties in place, Lawler Auction Company nor his Clients (the Seller) is under any obligation to warranty any item whatsoever. Buyer agrees to assume all risks in obtaining any such manufacturers warranty and agrees to hold harmless Lawler Auction Company, it's agents, it's owners, emplyees, and its clients from any liability whatsoever regarding any warranty claims. All items shall therefore be deemed sold "as is, with all faults, with no manufacturer or seller's warranties.

It is understood that all display models should be considered used and that the displayed or unboxed items may have dents or scratches on them that may not be disclosed and may not be seen from the photographs online. The Buyer agrees to take the item(s) in their "as is" condition.
All descriptions are believed to be correct, however it is the Buyer's responsibility to closely examine the items and make a final determination as to the descriptions. Buyer assumes all responsibility and risks of errors caused in describing the items.
You have successfully registered to participate in our auction. However your bids may go into pending status until we receive a copy of your driver's license and credit card. Depending on your HiBid reputation score and previous bidding history with Lawler Auction Company, bids will go into a pending status until approved by the auctioneer. You may elect to send a copy of your driver's license and payment form to email@example.com for faster approval. We appreciate your interest in our auction.
I just wanted to let you know that this audtion has over 2,400 lots in it, therefore this auction may not be completely over for several hours after the start of closing at 9am on Saturday, depending on how many last minute bids are placed. For that reason, we will have pickup times scattered out on Saturday from the time the auction closes until 8pm that evening. Then we will have pickup appointments on Monday and Tuesday as well.
We will begin automatically charging credit cards at 4pm on Saturday, however customers with pickup appointments before 4pm can come to the Barrett Appliance location and pay with cash to avoid the 3% credit card surcharge. However, you must have an appointment and you must wear a mask at all times during payment and pickup in order to meet the CDC's requirements for the current pandemic.
I also wanted to suggest that you might want to place your "Max" Bid when you place your bid, which will allow the system to bid on your behalf up to your maximum bid in increments. When the auction starts to close on Saturday it can sometimes be hard to keep your eye on multiple lots that you might be interested in because we will most likely have multiple lots closing at the same time. I often have customers tell us that they could not keep up with so many items, so the solution is to just place your maximum bid, and let the system do the bidding for you.
Again, I want to remind everyone that shipping will be limited to the boxed items only. We will charge $25 plus whatever the open rate is for UPS shipping. Larger items will be sent out UPS Freight.
If you buy multiple lots of appliances, it might be cheaper to get Uber Freight to do the shipping provided that you have a fork lift to unload the truck. We have found that Uber Freight is very reasonable and efficient in lots of cases, but the customer has to unload the truck.
For those of you picking up your items, we plan to have staff there to help get it to the door. From there, you are on your own, so please bring plenty of help necessary to load your items. We suggest that you consider renting a Ryder truck with a lift gate to avoid damage in moving refrigerators. You may also consider calling Byrd Appliance at 318-459-8745 if you need someone to deliver your appliances locally. They have expert installation services available as well.
I remind everyone that this is an auction. That means everything is sold "as is" without warranty or guarantee. Although there is usually a manufacture's warranty on new appliances, any such warranty would be between the Buyer and the manufacturer. However, Mr. Barrett tells us that all new items should have a 1-year manufacturer's warranty on it. With that being said, that is between you and the manfuacturer - and not Lawler Auction Company, Barrett Appliances or the Bank. If you have questions about warranties with GE, Samsung, Whirlpool, Electrolux, Dacor, Viking, Bosch, or Thermador products, their local repair center is Twin City Appliances and they can be reached at (318) 688-0253.
And lastly, please note that we have done the best job that we can by desribing the lots being sold. However we are human and we do make mistakes, especially when we are in a hurry to catalog and get the lots to auction, therefore we depend on the buyers to do their own research and carefully examine the model numbers, photographs, etc. before placing a bid to verify the dimensions, etc. You will note that we have obviously used some manufacture photos that we got online to try and match up the model numbers for reference purposes. We assume they are correct, but we leave it up to you to do your own investigation.
An appointment is required in order to pickup your merchandise. Due to the COVID-19 safe distancing guidelines, appointments will be scattered out every 10 minutes. All bidders are required to have a face mask on at all times during pickup (No Exceptions).
Payment will be required on the day of the auction via credit card, debit card, or cash. Those paying by credit card or debit card will be charged a 3% surcharge. Those wishing to pay by bank wire will not be allowed to pickup until all funds are received. All bank wires must be received by noon on Monday, May 11, 2020. The Auctioneer will assume the buyer is paying with a credit card or debit card and will automatically charge the card on file on the day of the auction (May 9, 2020) at 4pm unless the Buyer appears in person to pay with an alternate payment method. However, please remember to make an appointment prior to arrival for payment or for pickup.
Shipping of boxed items is available and will be quoted after the auction. Shipping of floor or display models is NOT AVAILABLE. Shipping will not proceed until after all bidders wishing to pick up their items have picked up their items. Pickup appointments will be available on Saturday, May 9, 2020; on Monday, May 11, 2020, and Tuesday, May 10, 2020.
