There is a 10% Buyer's Premium for this auction for those paying cash at our auction facility no later than 10AM on Wednesday, Jan. 4th. The credit card on file will automatically be charged following the auction and a 3% surcharge will apply unless the buyer has notified the auction company in advance by posting a note in the "Auctioneer's Notes" section of the bidder account letting us know that you will pay cash before 10AM on Jan. 4th. In the event that the bidder fails to pay by that time, the credit card will be charged regardless and the 3% surcharge will apply. A $25 administrative fee will be charged for all declined cards. There is no surcharge applied to credit card charges for this auction. In the event that we cannot process a payment for any reason, such as a declined credit card, etc., we reserve the right to sell the items to the next highest bidder. Regardless there will be $25 administrative fee on all declined cards.
This will be an online only auction with the first lot starting to close at 2pm on Tuesday, January 3, 2017, with each subsequent lot closing just seconds behind the other. In the event that a last minute bid is placed the bidding will be extended for approximately two minutes allowing the other bidders and opportunity to increase their bids.
BUYER ALERT: When the auction goes live (about 30 minutes before it closes), the auction process can sometimes seem overwhelming as bids are being placed and it may be hard to track the bidding on more than a couple of items at one time. Therefore we strongly recommend that you consider placing a "Max Bid" where the computer system will automatically insert your bid up to a certain dollar amount in increments, therefore you can rest assured knowing that you are not going to automatically have to pay the max bid, unless the bidding reaches that amount. This will prevent you from losing bids on items if you are trying to watch multiple items at one given time. (Note: In the event of a tie "max bid", the winning bid goes to the bidder that placed the bid first.)
Bidders may place a "Max Bid" (Maximum Bid) and the computer system will bid automatically up to the maximum bid in increments.
All items are sold "as is" without warranties or guarantees of any kind whatsoever. However it is the responsibility of the Buyer to carefully check each item before placing a bid. A preview and inspection time has been slated for the day of the auction, Tuesday, January 3, 2017 between the hours of 9am and 12pm only.
THERE WILL ONLY BE ONE PICKUP DAY FOR THIS AUCTION! ALL ITEMS MUST BE PICKED UP ON WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 4, 2017, between the hours of 9am and 5pm only. If you cannot pick up your items on that day, please do not place a bid, as there will be a $100 fee to send a truck and an employee after that date to unlock the building and retrieve merchandise.
All items must be picked up by appointment only on January 4, 2017. Buyers may call (318) 455-9397 to obtain a pickup time. Due to the logistics involved, we request that you make your appointment time, which is usually a 10 to 15 minute window allowing time to load your items. In the event that you are running late, please call to reschedule your pickup time so that we do not inconvenience other bidders. We are doing this because we know your time is valuable and we don't want you to have to wait in long lines. We are also concerned about the security of your items, so there only escorted customers will be allowed into the building at one time. Buyers must bring plenty of help to load out your own items, as it is the buyer's responsibility to load out their own items.
